Beach

I love going to beach during summer. The setting reminds me of my summer days in Japan.

Goldleaf Painting

I painted this as a gift for some one special. This is painted on 4' x 4' wood panel.

Lighting

This was done during sunset hour. It took several days because the lighting didn't last long. I like how warm light casts the scene. Grouping the light and shadow separately helped to create a strong read on light. This is a baseball field and there is a score board in front of the building.
I usually paint around sunset, but this one was done around 9am. I wanted to see how the light was different. Unfortunately it was cloudy, but the greenery really stood out as cool light intensified the green color.
